I think this software is reading data from the RL members database with out users having giving consent. Just scroll down the users list. This may be critical because most users probably dont even know about this forum yet, addicionally anyone can spy out costomers names.
This is a public forum and there has always been an indication of the number of members, including with the previous forum a list of those members. This has most likely simply been migrated to the new forum. The statistics is probably built-in functionality. I really don’t see the problem.
RL: It would be great to solve the internal server error problem!! That would be useful.
Hmm hope youre right. Though i dont think it would be possible to migrate those old forum users because the came from anywhere. The new forum requires IIRC an RL Members account. So assuming the old users havent been migrated and looking at all the "0"s behind the users, where would they possibly come from. Anyway i send a short note to RL.
Every user on the old Forum was required to create a Member account on the main Reallusion page before being able to make a post and those users would still be contained in the RL data bank.
I noticed that too and I bet users who rarely visit the forum (vast majority of all users) are still not aware that the old forum is no longer active.
Surprisingly, admins did not leave any links at the old forum clearly visible to visitors.
It should be in the forum header - highlighted/colored differently to attract an immediate attention.
You can not embed a video, as this forum would need to have massive storage for this, you can only use a link to a hosted video (Youtube/Vimeo). The video will be seen/playable inside the thread/forum. You can also use an unlisted video in case you only want to show things here…
Thanks for answering. Sadly the html5 (video tags) code that i was able to use in the old forum to display a video thats hosted on an axternal webserver (eg my own sever) doesnt work here anymore.
Or yes, it actually does!
I thought it’s only YouTube or Vimeo, but apparently direct video links are also embedded.
Like this sample video hosted on some random samples website…
But unfortunately google drive videos are not getting embedded and only recognized as downloadable content
Hello, everyone I’m Zan Rice and this is my scifi series on Youtube called THE SPLINTER. THE SPLINTER
I use CC4 and iClone8 for basic character accessories and splicing motion capture. I also use Nvidia’s Omniverse for scene set up, lighting, and rendering.
