The key phrase in the video I just posted is: “Yes, but only if you build an Unreal pipeline and do it all in Unreal.”
But they don’t “Do it all in unreal”
Where are they creating and texturing their models?
and according to this video they are doing alot of post effects in the powerful Nuke VFX compositor from the foundry.
The guaranteed success for completing a film project is to stick to a single application, especially if you’re doing it alone.
This may be true for you but not for everyone as we all have different needs
This person used Iclone and Character creator but he also needed Blender for the big scenes and render quality he wanted for his project.
Cool thanks for the info.
My first attempt, really a big step forward.

Hi Mr. JSFILMZ Tutor,
Many Thanks
Greetings Robert
Mocap Manager, Control Rig Physics, Scaled Proportion Retargeting, Retarget Operation Stack, H.264 render … so many new features in UE5.6
So many great advancements in UE5.6!
OT but It’s crazy but there’s still no reliable blog with all the latest unreal and iClone etc info written out. Do you know what I mean? I don’t have much ability to watch videos except for a few hours on Saturdays - the rest of the time I’d like to read about it all but there’s very little great coverage of it all (I can’t watch videos at work and I’m there 6 days a week for 12 hours etc).
CG channel and 80 level are the only blogs I’ve found that cover it - but they are usually quite late to it, and don’t cover all the details.
Bass, are there any UE/iclone/cinematic websites you read for detailed articles on latest features? With a comment section ideally
It does not seem likely that you will find such a written resource these days beyond Discord (which I personally hate)
All of the others are youtubers or Reallusion themselves
and both rely heavily on videos as a means to showcase features.
No clue, I also prefer to watch videos …

It saddens me as a retired technical writer, but the written word will disappear.
Really really hope that we can achieve this kind of result with the CC5
Salomon confirm that it works with French audio
Ironicly the LLM’s of AI services is heavily dependent on the written word
My previous 15 year career was in the graphic design for print industry.
Even then the more imagery you added to your printed material the more expensive it became to get it printed particularly in color because we were printing from chemically processed film negatives.
Digital imaging changed everything and the way people communicated and disseminated information changed along with
it and the costs of presenting things in video format became nearly non existent.
Also consider the highly visual nature of working in a program
such as unreal engine
I find it tedious just watching a video from “JSFILMZ”
clicking all over that horrendous UE interface just to set
things up.
I cannot begin to imagine trying to follow those steps using only written instructions even accompanied by still images.
Here is a perfect example of what I am talking about.
Imagine trying to explain all of this
with only a written technical manual
Unreal Engine 5.6 Preview

Hello, a little test with the UE 5.6 Preview,
I am currently testing the webcam recording, I am using an old webcam, I will probably buy a new one.

Thank you to show this video. The key phrase is at 9:35 min
“The engine becomes less and less approachable to new users”
That’s why it is a PITA for me every time I tried to dive into this game engine which is absolutely not made for beginners who want making movies…
