Reallusion Hub Won't Connect To Internet

I installed Reallusion Hub on a new PC and it says “You are disconnected from the internet right now. Please check your internet connection and try again later” I ran the network diagnostic tool and it is successful, I can login and my info appears, but I can’t load anything else. I get the MSVCR120,dll was not found on restart but installed the latest Visual C++ Redist. I’m connected to wifi and no issues there. Disabled antivirus and still no luck. Has this happened to anyone?

The same exact thing has happened to me. The hub claims I’m not connected to the Internet. I cannot download any of my products. Ran all my diagnostics and I’m definitely connected to the Internet. I can actually connect with real illusion website from the hub which claims it’s not connected to the Internet.

So I found a workaround. I run 4 computers with iclone as my render system. On a system with the Hub working I located the iclone 8 install file and brought it over to my new pc having the hub issue. I went to run it, entered my serial, but it said login issue. I opened hub, logged in, got the connection error and dismissed. While leaving hub open and logged in I ran the install file and successfully bypassed the hub for the install while waiting for support to respond. Prior I had done everything the FAQ suggested like turning off IVP6, adjusting internet settings, disabling firewall etc etc. With another seat and new pc purchase I was running a $2100 deficit until I could get things operational. The older computers the hub worked on I had upgraded the bios prior to win 11. The new pc having issues being pretty modern makes me wonder if the security architecture is harder for Reallusion Hub to navigate. I asked support for a direct link to the installer but do not know if they are able to provide it. I shared my work around since that could help other customers.

I have another computer that Reallusion hub just started doing the same thing now. Reallusion hub auto logged me out and when I re-entered credentials, no internet connection detected. Luckily iClone is already installed and operational but interesting it is happening to another device.

@Paul_the_Host Do you run any antivirus or firewall software other than Windows Defender? I can recommend to delete those programs and only use Defender.

Old habits die hard. It’s so odd to get used Windows Defender. I did eliminate the antivirus software and I was still dealing with the Reallusion Hub issue.

Did this ever get resolved?

Same for me, started happening today. At first, the diagnostics showed the MEMBER API down, but rn everything is in SUCCESS. So I really hope this is not a problem, just on my side.

Same here. I had no issues with the trial version, but as soon as I purchased the full version, I started getting the same error.

Same! Frustrating. I’ve tried everything and still same error.

Hello, Yes I am having the same issues, internet connection is fine but the HUB isnt loading any information at all

I have a same issue. Did you resolve this problem?

Yeah, I’m having the same issue. Guessing it’s a thing.

I was looking to trial it before buying the black friday deal, so this is hugely disappointing. The idea of having to download a hub to install the software is giving me ptsd from Adobe. Why can’t I just install the software? :frowning:

Did it also install a whole bunch of random services on my machine that make my machine unusable and that will be really hard to uninstall?

Yes, I have the same issue with you. I’m still trying to solve this problem, but nothing works.

Yup, I’m seeing the same thing.

It’s entirely unnecessary and slopy coding (and security) for the support page to be suggesting disabling all Antivirus and Windows security. Windows 11 doesn’t exactly make that a simple process and when no other software needs that it’s totally uncalled for.

I’ve added every folder that I can find where Hub has installed stuff to my Security exceptions list, and still no luck. (and yes just like OP, I ran the utility, and everything tests as succeeded)

anyone encounter this also, i encounter it and dont know what to do, i also copied the local files but still has the same problem

Same here!!! just happened to me after updating the hub today!

Yes having the same issue here as well. Logged into the hub fine. ran diagnostic tool and it succeeded. Still says the exact same thing yours said.

Same here!
You are disconnected from the Internet right now.
Please check your internet connection and try again later.
I supplied a support ticket.

This Hub is just plain bad.

@Reallusion: Either fix it or provide Installers like everybody else!!!
