Question about marketplace items

Hello, I have a question related to items in the marketplace that have “derivative content” attached to them. Like this one for example:

https://marketplace.reallusion.com/cp-004-hans-krebs_445961

In this one it mentions:

" Base content required for full functionality:

*This is derivative content from the base content above. Please make sure you have the base content in order for this derivative content to function as a full version. A derivative content can not be uploaded for sale unless it is modified from a base content."

If I download this and just delete the hair (or any other “derivative content” attached to it) can I freely use this for commercial purposes. I know the hair would be off limits as I haven’t purchased that pack, but if i get rid of the hair, the rest of the character should be a normal standard licensed asset correct?

Thanks

Have you ever found the answer to this question?
This fact is driving me mad.

Honestly no, it’s very frustrating, i’ve just decided not to use these assets and avoid any potential issues for now

There’s no point cost for the item, itself. Perhaps just download it and see if it bugs you for a specific morph? What I’ve noticed in my sculpting is that if you use any morph - and that includes simple ones, like “Size” - the morph is dragged along with your sculpt, as CC remembers it. I noticed this with nubs (nipples). If I created a morph with nubs, if I didn’t have the nipple morph set to something other than 0, it would cause problems if you changed the nipple morph.

I’m more concerned with the actual legality of using it in projects, making a video game and don’t want any issues once released cause I used an asset I thought was free to use, but wasn’t
