Khentopia is a feature-length animated film that was done in iClone and Character Creator and rendered in iClone with post-processing in After Effects to achieve a kind of graphic novel look. I started the project in 2017 and finished it last year with a final updated render the beginning of this year. Here is the trailer:
The film took a long time to complete for various reasons. First of all, I was struggling with the story until 2019, when I finally had a version I liked. The second reason is of course that making a film like this is a lot of work (we are talking pre-AI). It is also hard to stay motivated and I have done several short film projects in the meantime. But now it’s done for all to enjoy. There is no general distribution yet, because I have sumbitted to a number of festivals.
However, the Fantasy/Sci-Fi Film & Screenplay Festival is showing the film online tomorow, July 5, at 8:00 PM EDT. For access, click the following link: https://www.wildsound.ca/events/khentopia-sci-fi-feature-film-winner
