iClone 8.75 is Now Released – Independent AI Studio, Workflow Enhancements, and Bug Fixes

iClone 8.75 further streamlines the AI-powered creation workflow with the launch of AI Studio as an independent application. While AI Studio now runs separately from iClone to reduce application workload and improve overall efficiency, the integration remains seamless with direct access to AI Studio from the Render menu. This update also includes several enhancements and bug fixes.

:white_check_mark: Added

  • Integrated AI Studio into Main Menu > Render and the Render Panel, allowing direct capturing of image or video to AI Studio after parameter setup.

:magic_wand: Enhance

  • Removed Workspace selection page to simplify the workflow and improve user experience.
  • Removed the AI Studio program embedded within the AP application. AI Studio now runs independently to reduce main application workload and improve maintenance efficiency.

:wrench: Fixed

  • Fixed an application crash that occurred when double-clicking a Motion with “Related” settings without selecting a character.

Experiencing very slow downloads with the iClone, Character Creator, headshot 3.0 updates. Confirmed it’s not my connection. Updated the Hub and AI Studio (Stand-alone app) with no problem. Anyone else having the same experience?

Just updated. Did not experience any download delays. Less than 30 sec…

the new update failed to install. says parent program not found. i found this very interesting.

You can try upgrading to version 8.75; there is an issue with language switching.

As indicated in the message box, the issue may be related to the parent program. Are you able to use iClone 8 for now?

If so, please restart the Reallusion Hub, check your internet connection and available hard drive space, and then try updating again.

Could you also record the entire process and share the video with us? This will help us investigate and identify what may be causing the issue.

I was able to use iclone 8 and cc4 with no issues. however, i made the decision to uninstall and then reinstall both programs. now it’s all good. now i’m having to redownload some content.

Great update adding Seedance mini and 2.5. Would like to see a 480p option in the future. I really like the scroll to add a frame as a start frame or just to download. This really improves the workflow. If there were a very simple edit tool where you could cut the ends or perhaps the middle out, that would also be a huge time savor. Would save having to go into Davinci Resolve. The next step should really be adding audio to the character references. Many of the new models can very accurately use persistent character voice. I know some of the other services have paired up with 11 labs to do that. It’s sort of a mandatory thing to get on par with the top services that do this. The only other thing that is missing that is kind of important are references for image creation. You can add actors but not a simple image reference, not sure why. That’s pretty mandatory now for most AI workflows with image creation. However, congrats on this set up. The new patch is fantastic. LEVERAGE your 3-D suite as you are the only ones who really have this and are integrating it. Once the new render system in Iclone is out, that is going to be a HUGE edge for image and ai video generation that others don’t have built right into the platform. The unreal engine and blender pipelines are going to be useful as well to a lot of people. And finally, anything you can do to help generate 3-D background in Iclone will be useful in the future either by photo or MCP assisted creation. That’s the harderst one , but sort of the crown jewel that Reallusion is well positioned to take the lead in. Oh and let’s not forget MCP assisted animation. Yes that stuff is further out, and Reallusion I’m sure is thinking about all of that because they have done a great job staying a step ahead.
