General

  • Content saved in C8.6, CC5, or CC4.6 did not display thumbnail previews in File Explorer. Feedback Tracker 1, Feedback Tracker 2

  • Missing Set Default Project option in the right-click menu of Content Manager Custom Projects.

  • With CC5 not installed and only CC4.6 available, using Edit in Character Creator or Send Current Pose in IC8.6 displayed a “CC not installed” message. Feedback Tracker

  • With CC5 installed, CC5 characters could not be used when opening IC8 offline, resulting in error messages.

  • Fix iClone to enable the Timecode plugin update from patch.

Oh no! After updating to version 8.61 today, the system won’t boot anymore.

I’ve tried many times. Everything was working fine before the update; there were no problems. However, after updating iClone to version 8.61 today, the software won’t launch. CC5, updated to version 5.01, launches without any issues. I even deleted the cache in AppData\Local\Temp, but iClone version 8.61 still won’t launch.

Hi…

There may have been an error during the update process. It might be wise to try uninstalling iClone 8 from the Hub, restart your computer, and then reinstall the full version of 8.61 from the Hub. That should hopefully resolve the problem.
