I was on 4.61, Daz Transformer was working fine. Updated to 4.65 and now the Transformer is broken. No change to the FBX files that I’m importing. Has the process changed in some way that I don’t know about?

Hi Dr_Nemesis

Please can you report the issue in the Feedback Tracker and the dev team will look into it. Please let them know which Genesis version you were trying to import so they can try and reproduce the problem. Thanks.

Will do.

I’m using Character Creator 5.05 (5.05.1305.1) and ZBrush 2026.1.1. According to Reallusion’s official CC 5.05 release notes, GoZ should support ZBrush 2026.1.1, but GoZ does not send anything to ZBrush at all.

Support previously told me GoZ only works with ZBrush 2022–2025, which directly contradicts your own documentation.

I’ve already:

  • Reinstalled CC5, Reallusion Hub, and ZBrush multiple times
  • Manually copied CCGoZ.zsc and CCGoZData into ZStartup\ZPlugs64
  • Deleted and regenerated the plugin
  • Tested older ZBrush versions as well

Nothing works.

How do I fix GoZ with ZBrush 2026.1.1, and why isn’t it working despite being listed as supported?
Is this a known bug in CC 5.05, or is there a specific workaround?

I really appreciate the new transformer update, and how easily I’m now able to bring an “HD” Daz3D character into CC5 with fewer steps and much better results (in my opinion).

Using OliviaHD as a test, I was able to export as an FBX, and then again as OBJ (Daz Specs). It was quick and seamless, and no need to export and do anything in Blender or otherwise.

One thing I did notice however, is that the character after upload was still considered a CC3+, rather than a CC5 character. I know tutorials are still to come on the updates, but curious if there is a quick answer that I’m missing.

Also, I wasn’t able to import a Genesis 8.1 Figure, but will try some additional tests to see what’s possible and in case its just user-error.

Thank you.
M.

I’m experiencing the same issue; the plugin still doesn’t work. Please provide support to help us out!

Please try the following workaround from the Dev team:

Go to the following location and check whether there is a Reallusion folder in: C:\Users[Username]\Documents\

If the folder does not exist, please create it manually, and then re-open CC, and GoZ.

Please Note: After checking with R&D, we found that some changes made for ZBrush 2026.1.1 data transfer did not fully cover all cases. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

Before a patch is released, please try this workaround first.

I just did, still not working.

For ZBrush 2026.1.1 and after, zplugin(.zsc, data folder) should be copied to [Path to ZBrush.exe]\ZData\ZPlugs64
ZBrush has changed some plugin and temp settings since 2026.1.1
