Blender Pipeline v 2.3 Not appearing in iClone or CC

I am running CC 4.54.4225.1 and iClone 8.54
Reallusion HUB is showing Blender Pipeline installed in BOTH iClone and Character Creator
Neither iClone nor CC has Blender Pipeline installed. This is by looking at the Toolbar and the Plugins dropdown.
This is the same problem that I started the week with.
I have installed and uninstalled the Blender Pipeline REPEATEDLY.
I have manually deleted the folder in both locations
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both CC and iClone.

I downloaded the plugin from GitHub and manually installed it. Still not in iClone or CC
In CC and iClone, I tried to run the main.py script as a standalone script from the Script > Load Python menu. Still nothing. Though when I checked the Console Log, I found an error. “<class ‘TypeError’>, File: C:/Program Files/Reallusion/Character Creator 4/Bin64\lib\genericpath.py, Line: 19, Function: exists” in CC and
“<class ‘TypeError’>, File: C:/Program Files/Reallusion/iClone 8/Bin64\lib\genericpath.py, Line: 19, Function: exists” in iClone.
Can someone help me out?

Hi…

Please contact Technical Support who will be able to help you with this issue.

you can try the addon version 2.2.4

Same error (in CC4) with the 2.3.0 github version:
<class ‘TypeError’>, File: A:/Reallusion_Programs/Character Creator 4/Bin64\lib\genericpath.py, Line: 19, Function: exists

It’s a bad plugin and doesn’t work.

Technical support, after 5 days and an average response time of 24 hours, directed me here.

Just came to say, I am also having this issue and can’t seem to find a soluton.

I am having the same problem with Character Creator 4.54 and IClone 8.54, systems is up to date. Some time ago that I don’t use the Pipeline, but today I tried and the Blender pipeline is not show in the Plugins menu.

Here’s another reply discussing the same issue — I hope it helps!

I had this problem also on both CC4 and iClone 8. What you have to do

  1. Go to your Reallusion HUD and uninstall both CC4 and iClone 8, Blender plugins
  2. Then reinstall both one by one - inside your Reallusion HUD
  3. Then reinstall the updated Blender cc-tool 2-32 plugin zip file into Blender.I’m using 4.5 LTS.
    This should work!
