Wrist twisting for retargeting animations

I have a many custom characters that I rigged in CC4. Animations look fine. I import them into Unreal and they come in just fine. I have some animations packs that I am trying to retarget to the new models. However, most have a problem with wrists being twisted 360 degrees. I do not want to have to edit each animation to fit for CC.

Just to add to this, it only happens on some models. I am not sure why. It is when the wrist positions are going between rotations. Not sure about the numbers, but the rotation is between -180 and 180. It seems that Unreal is taking the rotation all the way around.
