Hello everyone!
A little bit late to start my WIP, but here we go!

My main idea is to create a powerful sci-fi boxing monkey warrior, combining a strong muscular humanoid body with distinctive monkey facial features, fur, and futuristic armor.
I want the character to feel wild, powerful, and intimidating, while still having a unique personality and strong silhouette. I’m exploring how to balance the organic monkey/creature elements with the hard-surface armor and boxing-inspired design.
I’m currently in the early exploration stage — gathering references, doing rough sketches, and exploring the body, face & fur, armo
r, and overall visual direction.
Still figuring things out, but hopefully I can take this character somewhere interesting. Thanks for checking it out, and I’d really appreciate any feedback or suggestions along the way!
Let’s see where this character goes!

WIP : 01 — BODY & FORM
Started with the CC3+ Base and began developing the shape in ZBrush .
Just exploring the proportions, anatomy, and overall silhouette for now. Still early, but slowly taking shape.
Thanks for following along!
WIP 02 — Body & Outfit Exploration
Continuing the character exploration today.
I’m focusing on the body shape, proportions, clothing, and overall silhouette to push the design further.
Still exploring and learning along the way.

WIP 03 — GLOVE
Today’s WIP — working on the boxing glove blocking and refining the character design.
Slowly building up the forms and details.
A little progress on my first sneaker project
Started by blocking out the main shapes and proportions, then refined the upper, sole and other details in ZBrush. I also spent some time cleaning up and shaping the forms to get a better overall silhouette.
Still have a lot to learn, but I’m enjoying the process and slowly getting there.

A small step forward with the character.
Still working on the hair design. I’m going for a stylized, chunky dreadlock-inspired look that fits the character’s strong and wild personality.
I’m still refining the shape, flow, and silhouette to make the hair feel more natural while keeping the stylized look.

Finalized the body sculpt and skin details for the character.
At this stage, I focused on refining the overall anatomy and adding subtle surface details to make the body feel more natural while keeping the stylized look intact.I made sure the anatomy details stayed subtle enough to support the character design without taking away from the overall silhouette.
