I have long been fond of the boy character in “Pine Wind” by Chinese manga artist Zao Dao. Although Zao Dao designed the boy as a young hero, the audience perceives him as a monster hunter. Although there are no villains in the manga, it doesn’t diminish the charm of the protagonist boy. I have always wanted to recreate this character using 3D technology. This time, with the opportunity presented by the Reallusion 2026 character contest, I finally have the chance to transform a two-dimensional manga character into a 3D Character.
