Hello! I’m excited to share some Work-In-Progress for this year’s Animation at Work Contest. I’m very much new to Reallusion, so I’ve been learning a lot and though it’s not perfect I’m still happy with what I have so far.
I started a little late, I think, but now I’m done with most of the heavy lifting. I recorded my voiceover and finished storyboarding, I have my characters fully rigged and I’m mostly done drawing backgrounds. I finally got around to actually starting the animation itself.
I had lots of fun figuring out the 360 Head Turns and spring bones.
I’m quite unfamiliar with the workflow typical for this sort of animation, since the little experience I have comes from traditional 2d keyframe-by-keyframe animation, so I might be approaching this all wrong. Anyway, I’m blocking in the rough movement here. I’ll be correcting it and looking at the transition curves later.
Thank you and good luck to everyone,
Merry Christmas!
