I just noticed yesterday while looking the bones that character creator characters at least the ones I import into blender have “extra bones”. I took photo where you see extra bones that were hidden inside the bigger arm and leg bones.
I haven’t seen any rigging tutorial where people add make this type of skeleton that has smaller bones inside the bigger ones that already do the job correctly so why there is samller bones inside the bigger ones?
thanks! I read the manual, but it doesn’t explain it further than just quickly. I’m wondering that I haven’t seen any riggin tutorial for blender where people add these bones. Does blender rigging do this too since it is hiding like duplicate of skeleton after rigifying or why is it needed if other people can do without it. I’m not sure of my quesiton this is completely new info to my that there is different extra bones that prevent something else which I thought weight painting will do.
