Why are characters feet distorted?


Hello,
This character’s feet look fine in some animations but in others they distort like this. It is a custom humanoid mesh. I used AccuRig to set it up, then I took it to Blender and added some bones and weight painted the jaw. Brought it back to CC4 and loaded the original IK profile in Characterization mode.

I didn’t weight paint the feet, so these are the weights that came from AccuRig. Did this happen because I did the feet wrong in AccuRig? I thought I lined up the dots right , but I didn’t use all the toe bones because it seemed like too much. If so what would be the right way?
