I created a character, sent it to iClone for animation, then exported to UE via livelink. Now im seeing something I’ve never seen before; when idle, the character’s face is okay, but as soon as the character smiles or frowns, her face turns white.
What does this mean? Where did i go wrong and how do i fix it?
This occurs when a wrinkle profile with a different diffuse color is applied. A quick remedy is to delete and reactivate the wrinkles on your character in CC. This will create a wrinkle diffuse that matches the character’s skin tone.
Somehow i didnt see this response. Anyway, thanks for the tip, it might come in handy next time.
I had found another workaround though - activating subdivision in iClone before exporting.
