Hi, the CC4 Metatailor plugin is not showing on the Reallusion download Hub…is there a problem with the hub?…I uninstalled and re-installed the hub and plugin still not showing or is there a problem with the plugin
Do make sure that you have the latest version of the Hub installed (see screenshot below) and make sure that CC4 is the selected product. You should then see the Metatailor plug-in listed as shown in the screenshot.
When I applied “Shrink Wrap” to a whole outfit, it did a good job except for the collar of the outfit, that got all tangled up, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to fix it. Can this be excluded from the shrink wrapping?
Also, when in Design mode, is there a way for the avatar to be in at T-Pose instead of an A-Pose? It’s difficult to get the armpit area to adjust it so it doesn’t distort so badly when the character lifts their arms higher. I know you can test the moves in Physics mode, but you can’t really properly get to that area in a A-Pose.
If this deformation happens you can use the smooth and relax brush to fix any issues that come up. You can also use the shrinkwrap brush instead of the slider to control where you want to apply the shrink to, rather than have it apply globally.
I think in this case, the deformation is beyond the capability of the relax & smooth brushes. I have used the shrink wrap brush, which does a decent job, but it’s hard to have an item wrap as evenly as using the global shrink wrap. Maybe the ability to exclude part of the mesh might be a good future feature?
