Anybody knows what is going on?
I can pose her fine in CC but whatever animation or pose I give her in iClone, this is what happens with her arms…
Adjust her T-pose in the proportion tool in CC. Her arms are to low in the initial T-pose, so the bone rotations start to low. All animations expect the character in a T-pose initially. Sometimes even raising the arms into more of a Y pose is good, for bulkier characters.
Thanks @Rampa !
Now I wonder why there is no “select skeleton - > put it into T pose” button?
We have to try to match the actual T pose by hand in 2026…really?
Close is good enough. Technically it is in a “T-pose”, but the bone rotations are just offset. So your just correcting the T-pose. You will sometimes need to rotate the bones yourself when characterizing (bone retargeting) custom imported FBX humanoids as well.
Maybe, but now I have to look at a fresh T-pose and compare it to my characters bones…instead of pushing one button. ![]()
I wonder how that happened in the first place. But in any case, we have “Character > Set T-pose” action from the menu, where you can restore a T-pose by loading one of the neutral base characters as reference (at least it was in CC4).
