Weird, square like head shape when using head-shot with PRO option

I have noticed that any time I use Head-Shot (by the way, I use trial version for now) with pro mode I receive weird head shape which looks like a square. The face is definitelly too wide, and looks unnatural. Here is the example

How can I change it? I have tried changing the skull width and other options in the morph tab, but the lower part of a face still remians wide and looks weird/sucks. Why does it ignore the original shape from a photo?

I suspect the photo isn’t suitable for headshot.

First, try a picture with a neutral looking face, the head should occupy most of the picture, hair shouldn’t cover important parts of the head and no parts of the face, the lighting of the photo should be very even.

Does this make a difference? If yes, then you might try to edit your picture displayed above in a photo editing software so it satisfies the same requirements.

I and others have been talking about it for a while already…

RL has to consolidate Auto and Pro into a single method with hair option as a check box.
Auto has much better face/hair separation method compare to the Pro (which is really dumb when it comes to the hair).
Aside from her smile (which should not be used with Headshot) this is a perfectly valid image for a Headshot.

Here is almost perfect face shape generated with Auto method (hair is hidden)… but it’s limited to 1K? Why the heck for??

I think, that the quality with PRO option is significantly better (though not overwhelming)

This image will work much better if you remove everything but the face, so it just the face with no hair, on a white background. Then pro mode should be fine.

It is being fooled by the hair shape.
