Voice software

Can anyone suggest a good voice changing software to use with accuface?

I use Elevenlabs.io to change my voice in most of my recent movies. Depending on your needs, you may not have to subscribe as they have a fairly generous free tier. So far that’s all I’ve needed. Good luck!

I also use (and subscribed to) Eleven Labs. It has both voice changer and text to speech, but I use the text to speech rather than the voice changer as their range of voice across a large variety of languages, accents, ages, genders etc is amazing. You can add prompts/emotion to the speech like whisper, soft, loud, mischievous, cry, sigh, heavy breathing, giggle, laugh and recognises punctuation marks, capitals etc.

I have limited success with any voice changer software, as it still tends to replicate your own speech pattern., as it mainly just changes the sound of the voice. Especially noticeable if you are trying to change gender of voice.

The text to speech is incredibly realistic, I’d often be struggling to tell it’s an AI generated voice. In fact I use my own voice for some male characters where I can, so I don’t unnecessarily use up all my credits, but because I’m not the greatest voice actor, I think I sometime sound more AI than the actual AI generated voices. It also has the ability to learn voices. For a bit of fun, I taught it my own voice and now it can very accurately create text to speech using my own voice. It’s actually a bit scary how close it is to my own voice, accent and even pronunciations. The more training you give it, the better it is.

And Eleven Labs isn’t just voices. It can create copyright free music & sound effects as well, plus a large range of other things that can be beneficial to us creators.
