UV seams are visible, couldn't import back from maya to CC5 after fixing UV

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue with my Character Creator 5 → Maya → CC5 workflow and could use some guidance.

Problem:

  • UV seams are visible on the character (especially after texturing).
  • I exported the character from CC5 to Maya, fixed the UVs, but CC5 refuses to import the mesh back (Update Mesh).

  1. Which version of CC5 are you currently using?
  2. What specific content or character base are you working with?
  3. If possible, could you send the CC project file that has the issue to alanyang@reallusion.com?
