hey guys, I need to goz out my character model to sculpt the eye area and bring that back to cc4. how do you sculpt the around eye area without touching the eyelashes? in cc4 or even in zbrush with goz? is there a way to hide the eyelashes in cc4 or separate them when goz and get all the subdivision levels?
- I tried export the body as .obj, but cc4 still keeps eyelashes with the exported model. Probably I can detach the eyelashes geo in maya and reimport the body geo to cc4 without eyelashes, but then is there a way to reattach the eyelashes in cc4, probably this is a bad idea since the cc4 morph will not work since there is no eyelashes, polygon count changed?
- I know I can separate the eyelashes while in goz menu but then I do not get all the subdivision levels when working in zbrush, and if I subdivide the mesh while in zbrush, but then I can’t sculpt because the layer recording has to be turned on but zbrush won’t let me since I subdivide them.
- If I don’t separate the eyelashes when goz, I get all the levels when goz but if I hide them while layer recording in on, zbrush messes up the texture and shows artifacts. Please help!
