Not pleased with cc5, Would like cc4 to be what it was before i installed and uninstalled cc5. Do I need to reinstall cc4?

I had to downgrade from CC5/back to CC 4.6. due to the avalanche of bugs. I first uninstalled both CC5 and iClone 8.6; then reinstalled CC 4.5.4 and iClone 8.5.4; I then tried to use the Blender live link and it forces you to upgrade from CC 4.5.4 to CC 4.6, and so I did so. I then upgraded iClone 8.5.4 to 8.6 guessing there would be further issues.
I open CC 4.6 with a CC3+ character in my scene and clicked “Send to iClone” - this command is ignored and no longer works.
This has been a *hit show. I would suggest taking CC5 down - countless users I have no doubt have upgraded, only to find multiple problems then be forced to downgrade, and to find out CC4.6 no longer “sees” iClone 8.6. It’s a disaster. Whomever was in charge/managing the CC5 rollout should be terminated.
The first patches for CC5, CC4 and iClone 8 will be released next week. These patches will fix a number of issues, including sending characters between CC and iClone. Please look out for an update notification in the Hub.

resolved many issues by reinstalling and refreshing assets. Main problem right now, which has been brought up by others, is thumbnails not being generated. I have been running other tests and have not noticed and new issues.
Good evening, everyone. First, I would like to thank Reallusion. It was iClone 8 and CC4 that allowed me to start a career as a 3D animator. Today, my income depends entirely on these programs. I plan to purchase CC5 at the end of the year, but for now, I need CC4. I’m experiencing issues with sending characters from iClone to CC4. I eagerly await updates that will fix these issues because, as I mentioned, I depend on iClone and CC4 for my livelihood. Once again, good evening, and good luck to the Reallusion team!

if it helps, while you wait for a fix.
Any characters saved in iClone, should also be visible in the content manager in CC4 (and vice-versa).
So even though it’s not as convenient, you can open the character in CC4, modify it as required, save and then you should then be able to load the saved version from the content manager in iClone into your scene.
