I pressed the execute CC control rig action on my character which generated the rigs as expected, however, when I put the rig into the sequencer and tested the facial rig I found that the eyes and mouth were incorrectly set up. When I move the slider to open the jaw down, it moves the jaw to the right, and when i move it from left to right, it moves the jaw forward and back.
For the eyes, when i move their controllers left to right, it rotates the eyes around the pupil, not left to right, and moving the controller up and down moves the eyes left to right. This means all live link face data that I put onto the mesh is mapped incorrectly. Blend shapes seem to work perfectly fine, its just elements controlled by bones not seeming to work properly from my testing. I have tested this on both UE5.5 and 5.6, I’ve tried re-exporting the character, I’m using UE Control Rig 1.11 and Auto Setup 1.41, and my character was exported from CC5.02. I’ve followed the tutorials on the Reallusion Youtube as best I could and got the same result every time. I should also mention that Unreal Auto Setup doesn’t seem to work in 5.5. I just made the entire character white and didn’t bind any textures, which was odd, as I hadnt had that happen before. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
I can’t upload videos, so here’s an image illustrating what happens when I attempt to open the jaw. If i do this in CC5, the jaw opens without issue, but in unreal, it slides to the side oddly.
