UE5.5 crashes with import of CC4 character (works in UE 5.4)

Dear Reallusion Team,
sadly as it is, in our case our CC4 export (Unreal), UE5.5 crashes all the time with a texture problem, when we import it with your auto plugin.

I just can not get it to work in UE5.5

if you need this character to try it out yourself, I can send the CC4 project to you via wetransfer

please fix it for future use.
Thanks,
Peter
PS: workarround → import to UE5.4 and than migrate to UE5.5 however, I don’t want to do this forever…

Hello!

I’m having the same issue. I’ve tried changing the output texture format, sizes, etc. with no success.

I see the workaround for copying between versions of Unreal…are there any additional workarounds anyone has found to work?

Are there any updates to patch this?

Thanks!

Hi…

Are you following the updated Unreal 5.5 auto-setup tutorial HERE? This method should work fine.
