Trial Downloads for Boosting Smart Search Exposure (June 25, 2025)

To enhance the user experience, all official RL-Made content will support Trial Downloads in Smart Search starting in June. Member trial limits remain unchanged (up to 3 content packs and 10 items per day).

Reallusion encourages all developers to enable Trial Downloads for their content. Doing so improves user engagement, increases exposure in Smart Search, and gives more users the chance to experience your content—ultimately raising the likelihood of making a sale.

Can someone explain the thinking in limiting the “Trial Downloads” to such a small number or, even limiting them at all. It’s like walking into clothes store and being told you may only try on one garment a day. If you want to try on another garment, you must come back tomorrow. How does that make sense? It’s not like one can do anything with the trial object until it is purchased. It seems so counter productive. Or am i missing something?
