Several enhancements.
Enhanced:
- Lights and cameras will now be exported and transferred to Blender.
- Prop animation sequences can now be sent from Blender to iClone.
- Send Scene button added to allow sending or updating the entire scene at once.
- Motion updates will apply when target actors are already present in the Blender scene.
- Select Scene button will select all DataLink-compatible objects in the scene.
- Remote file transfer is now supported over DataLink, enabling transfer between local and remote Blender instances.

Data Link
Enhanced:
- Remote file transfer supported over DataLink, enabling transfers between local and remote CC/iClone and Blender instances.
- Motion Pose/Sequence transfer no longer dependent on Quaternions; preserves bone rotation modes across rigs.
- Avatar and prop skin bones identified by iClone ID for accurate transfer and retargeting.
- Prop animation Pose/Sequence transfer supported from Blender back to iClone.
- Select Scene button added to select all DataLink-transferable objects in the scene.

Bug Fixed:
- Incorrect prop mesh positioning caused by buggy exports from iClone.
Rigify
Enhanced:
- Meta-human-like facial expression rig for Extended, Standard, and Traditional facial profiles.
- Expression rig supports retargeting, DataLink motion transfer, and Pose/Sequence exchange with CC4/iClone8.
- Control color adjustment, face rig placement, and character attachment options added.
- Supports ActorCore, ActorScan, and ActorBuild characters.
- ARKit Proxy added for Live Link face transfer input (e.g., Face-it add-on).
- Expression rig proxy drives expression shape keys and head bones with adjustable strength, exaggeration, and directional bias.
- Load CSV function added for face capture recordings, compatible with Face Landmark Link output.
- Rigify export now uses CC Base naming aligning bones to original CC rig orientation, improving jaw and eye bone compatibility (e.g., Unity ConvAI).
Bug Fixed:
- Rigify setup defaults rig to zero IK stretch; removed “Disable IK Stretch” option due to incompatibility.
- Rigify bone locks being cleared on pose reset.
- Rigify motion-only export.
- Rigify blendshape export for rigs with and without face rig.
- CC-aligned metarig finger rotation.
- Rigify spring bone control rig and simulation rebuild for Blender 4.4.
Materials
Enhanced:
- Emission reworked as multiplier on base color with expanded strength.
- Reflection surface supported as clearcoat.
- Wrinkle masks (local library images) now packed into blend files.
Bug Fixed:
- Blender 4.1 material refraction setting.
- Incorrect embedded alpha channels from FBX importer.
- Embedded alpha channel custom UV mappings.
- Default roughness and specular values fixed for PBR and Transparent shaders without textures.
- Material export when texture image node image is missing.
Lights & Cameras
Enhanced:
- Import and transfer of lights and cameras with animations, including pose and sequences.
- Light and camera sequences can be sent back to iClone via Sequence Transfer (target must pre-exist in iClone).
- Lights now support IES profiles and light cookie textures (Cycles only).
Scene & Export Tools
Enhanced:
- Scene Tools: Eevee setup button added.
- Baked GLTF export button added.
Bug Fixed:
- Blender 4.4 action slot issues.
- Blender 4.4 proportion edit crash when removing all shape keys.
- humanoid export JSON avatar type.
General
Bug Fixed:
- 1:1 viseme driver behavior.
- FBX export scale units causing Rigify avatar bones to scale incorrectly in Unity.
