Texturing with Marvelous Designer and CC5

Good morning, I have to export a cloth from MD to be used in CC5 and I have the problem that buttons and other accessories are exported in the cloth but with different material and textures. When I import the accessory in CC5, I cannot place the proper textures because I should need the reading UDIM tiles (and I cannot find in CC5 a way to do that).
Can you help me in solving this issue or suggest me a tutorial (if present)? Thank you very much

Hey Danrusso

In case you haven’t found a workaround / someone othe has the same workflow question, this may help:

As you should have your Texturemaps baked and named properly with the according UV-Tile through the Marvelous Export, you can import the mesh in your favorite DCC and there delete all the assigned Materials as they fullfilled their purpose through the baking Process. What this allows you to now go to the UV-Editor, select the Shells of UV-Tile 1001 and apply a new Material to them (which can be just plain white). make sure to name it in a way you know which UV-Tile the Material belongs to. Repeat for all the UV-Tile and you’re basically Done!
Thy only thing left now is to import the mesh and apply the texturemaps to the acording materialslot you have created
