I was lead to believe that there would be RTX rendering available at some point, yet we have not a single hint of any time frame… Not to be pushy, but it has been kind of a high priority for me ever since Iray Render got shut down.

Would also like to hear more about this – obviously AI is all the rage at the moment, but the RTX rendering “as a free update” seems like it doesn’t have much runway left, since iClone is at v8.7, and v9 doesn’t seem too far away (if it isn’t added until v9 then it’s not really a “free update”).
There were also unanswered questions about whether or not ParticleFX and speed trees, amongst others, were going to be supported by this?
The announcement about RTX Render was part of the 2026 Roadmap which was revealed HERE. As we are only now in June, much more information will be coming throughout the rest of the year. All will be revealed soon.
