Smart Content Manager Error: "Failed to connect to the local database"

Hi everyone,

I am currently facing a critical issue that prevents me from installing assets and using the Smart Content Manager in Character Creator 5.

Every time I open Character Creator 5, the Smart Content Manager tab displays the following error:

“Warning: Failed to connect to the local database. Please restart the Content Manager or contact Reallusion Support.”

If you have restarted your computer, re-launched Character Creator, and the issue is still the same, do check and disable any proxy connections or VPN’s to see if this resolves the problem.

If you are not using a proxy connection or VPN, then please check that you are logged into Windows as an Administrator (Note: You can also try right clicking the Character Creator icon in the Start Menu and choose “Run As Administrator”. Does this make a difference?

I don’t using a proxy, I tried all this but the same a issue
