Hello,
I’m having trouble changing the skin color of a character in CC4. I’ve included screenshots. I’m giving my character a pale blue skin color but the new skin color doesn’t appear on the ears, around the nostrils, the mouth or the eyelids. Those sections are not impacted when I look at texture maps. I’ve included screenshots of the maps to show how they are not affected. How do I make adjustments to the ears, eyelids, nostrils and mouth so they match the base skin color?
I made the adjustments to the skin color following the instructions in this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuEZfD9L8_4&t=247s
Thanks, K_Digital.
I just did that and it worked.
It’s odd because I was working off of the base Camille CC4 character. I made some adjustments to her face with morph sliders and then went in to change the color of her skin. I’m not sure why that map was created. It seems to be there for Camille at the very start. I opened a new Camille file and tried changing her skin color and ran into that issue again.
Thanks for your help
Thanks for the help, everyone. I deleted the mask and that helped. I also reached out to Reallusion Tech Support and they were kind enough to make a video showing how to fix the issue by adjusting the skin tone in SkinGen which is more geared for wild skin color changes. Unfortunately I can’t share the link.
Really awesome tech support on Reallusion’s part. And I appreciate the community responses as well.
Thanks and good luck, everyone.
