I’m having a problem with shoes exported from iClone as FBX and imported into Cinema 4D. The problem appears to be with the iClone 8.62, since the same shoes I exported as FBX with an earlier version worked well in C4D, but exported now they are messed up. The other thing is if I export FBX directly from CC without animation, then apply an animation to the figure using C4D’s retargeting, the shoes look fine (tho this is not ideal for various reasons.) Am I missing some new setting in iClone that is affecting the shoes/feet?
Older FBX export–not perfect, but not bad:
Same figure, exported now:
Same shoes, exported from CC and animated in C4D.
Hi Auroratrek,
Can you provide me with the product name of these shoes on Marketplace?
I’d like to see if I can replicate your issue. If your shoes are not a Marketplace product, I suggest you submit the current issue to Feedback Tracker and provide your project file for further investigation.

Hi Auroratrek,
Thank you for your feedback.
Currently, the Pixtim Adventurer Woman Boots asset only deforms when exported to C4D. Our team has scheduled a fix for this issue, but it will take some time to resolve.
We will notify you as soon as the fix is complete.
In the meantime, if you need to use this product, we recommend staying with IC/CC or Blender (both have been verified by the team to avoid deformation).
