Rigify problem.

I find this new question, when I build rigify. The mouth is oppen, and head look up, I can make head back with make all controller rotation to zero, but the oppen mouth I can’t make it back

The mouth is open but the Jaw control is at rest. Do any of the expression controls on the rig actually work?

Did it throw any errors during the Rigify process?

Did you export with any particular export settings?

I made a screen record can answer all your question, but I can’t post here… so can you give me a email or something I can sent you a link or file?

You can’t post links until you’ve posted a couple of posts. It will probably let you do it now.

Or use CTRL+SHIFT+V to post the raw text of the link.

I do the same with cc5 base character every thing is currect, and this screeshot is another character I create with daz,and everything is currect too .So, I think there have no export setting problem.

And, this is character file.

That’s interesting. The head bone on your character is at an angle (It should be pointing straight up)

That angle is propagating through the expression bones and causing a miscalculation in the expression data for the jaw. Not sure if it’s CC5 or the Rigify process generating the wrong data, or maybe both.

You can fix that quite easily by going into Modify > Adjust Bones → Auto Position:

And that will realign all the bones correctly and it should Rigify correctly after that:

I’ll have to look into why the head bone angle causes this.

“fix that quite easily by going into Modify > Adjust Bones → Auto Position” will do, thank you.
