For the past few days, I cannot render anything to video in clone 8. It stops at 30% and stalls there and hangs up the system. It had been working fine up to now. My project is frozen in place. I can’t make any progress.
Hi…
Have you tried different video formats such as wmv, avi, mov etc. to see if the same thing occurs across all formats? Also does the video render freeze with all projects, even a very basic ones, or just this particular project?
I did all the things that you listed and initially it worked again for about three times. Then it went back to the old 30% freeze. I’m using MP4‘s as my render. I haven’t used any other format yet. I’ll try that next.
And yes, it freezes on anything that I am doing whether it’s simple or more complicated,
If rendering freezes at exactly 30% in iClone 8, this indicates either a critical error in a specific frame or a memory overflow (VRAM/RAM) when transitioning to a new “resource-intensive” scene on the timeline.
Thanks for supplying more information.
As this issue is happening with different formats and different projects, I would recommend contacting our Technical Support team so they can dive a little deeper into what is causing this issue. They will be able to advise you further.
Can’t get out this doom loop of 30% render stall. This time I trashed iClone 8, then I reinstalled Windows 11, then reinstalled iClone 8. I made a test of only a couple hundred frames and guess what? It hit 30% and stalled. I should say it doesn’t only stall; it crashes my entire computer and I have to restart it. I guess I’ll have to get away and stop using iClone and hope someday I will able to use it again, like I had been, only a few weeks ago!
