Hi,
Running iClone 8.74 with AccuFACE 2 (trial, CC5 HD character). Tracking works fine in preview, but after recording nothing ever appears on the character’s Timeline, no Expression/Face track at all, no error message.
The “Records remaining” counter does decrease each time (10 → 5), so something is being processed, but no data ever gets committed to the scene. I tried both live webcam and a pre-recorded video source, same result.
I then got this notice on a later attempt: “To unlock the ‘Record’ feature, you will need to upgrade to the full edition!”
I was approved for the Portfolio Artist Program.
How can I get facial mocap actually working here, is this expected trial behavior (Record locked until full license), or am I doing something wrong?

Just to let you know that currently, it appears that your AccuFACE 2 is under trial version. And we offer only 10 recording times for the trial version. This will remain unchanged, and we welcome all participants to leverage the trial version and make the most of it for your contest entry.
Since you are approved for the Portfolio Artist Program, we will offer AccuFACE 2 access within the next 48 hours, and valid until AUG 31, 2026. Please check your Reallusion HUB and access it later.
Last but not least, about your technical question:
You need to make sure your face is moving correctly in the viewport.
When the recording stops, the expression should be generated, and please tick this box.
(Trial record has a 10-times limit and a 30-second preview limit.)

Thanks again, AccuFACE 2 is now unlocked and working.
I noticed a separate trial profile in Motion LIVE called “LIVE FACE (iPhone)” that blocks the Record feature.
Is LIVE FACE (iPhone) covered by the same Portfolio Artist Program access?
Also : Rules say " iClone should be the main software for character animation editing" - does that mean all recorded animations must come from ActorCore or can it come from Mixamo, Fab, etc, and be edited and combined in iClone ?

The LIVE Face Mocap is not covered in the program.
And for the motion, it can be from other platform, but iClone should be used in for the animation editing, and shown and explained in your submitted WIP posts.
