Q ) Upgrading to a new System

I have iClone 8.5 and CC4. Are there any Do’s and Don’ts when upgrading to a new PC? For example, do I need a new ILoc for my software, etc.? And is there anything I should look out for?

Hi…

Here a few things to do:

  1. On the old computer uninstall iClone 8 and CC4 while connected to internet. This will free up your licenses.

  2. Backup your custom content folder onto an external drive or flash drive…

  3. On the new computer install the Reallusion Hub, login, and then install iClone 8 and CC4 again.

  4. Now copy over your saved custom content into the Custom folder of your new installation using Windows File Explorer.

  5. Now you can install the free embedded content and any purchased content using Content Manager in iClone 8 and CC4.
