Puppet Stage Not Working Properly with Voice Clip

Subject: Issue with Inserted Wave File within Puppet State Animation

Dear Cartoon Animator Team,

I am experiencing an issue where the inserted wave file (audio file created by clicking “Create Script” in the left menu) is not working or audible when used with Puppet State.

Here is the process I followed:

I clicked on "Create Script."
I selected "Wave File," which inserted the audio into the Voice Timeline under the Voice Clip Timeline.
I then opened "Puppet State."
I recorded the animation.
After finishing the recording, the inserted voice file automatically deleted itself.

Thank you for your support; it is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Raksmey

Hi Raksmey

Like your other issue related to voice clips, this also appears a bug.

I have passed your feedback to the CTA team for investigation. I will update again once I know more. Apologies again for the inconvenience caused by these issues.

UPDATE:

After discussion with the CTA team they have explained that this isn’t actually a bug, but occurs because Puppet Stage generates data for the voice track which will obviously replace any data already there.

The solution in this case is to record the voice script after using Puppet Stage and not before.
