New maya link process

Hello
Since there will be a new maya autosetup process
I have a question:
Will the new maya autosetup work for Maya Creative as well?
Because there are 2 Maya’s
one that supports plugins and one (Maya Creative) which doesn’t support plugins

Can you specify more? thank you

The version requirements have not yet been finalised, but it is likely the full version that supports plug-ins will be required. We will confirm this closer to release.
