My VR video

Hey everyone,
I made a short VR video, if anyone is curious and has a headset (you can watch it without it too of course):

The body animation is really bad honestly, I tried a video based mocap and it got really bad results and I spent a lot of time cleaning it up and it is still really bad and looks nothing like the original, I just couldn’t really tell it’s that bad until I watched it in VR which was too late at that point. I didn’t redo it because it took a lot of time rendering it out and it’s just like the first test so I think it’s good enough for that.

Anyway, I’m curious, anyone else here made any VR videos?

hey this is a 2D video, for VR ist should be at least 3D, SBS , fisheye etc. doesnt it ?

Hey, I tested it with the Quest 3’s YouTube app, it worked as it should there. It’s supposed to be a 180° SBS 3D video, that’s how I rendered it.
Although in the Quest’s browser it didn’t work properly, I’m not sure why.
