Hello,
I’m using motion capture animations from your “Home Life” and “City Life” series, particularly those involving two characters interacting (e.g., hugging, shaking hands, etc.). I’ve applied the corresponding animation clips to two characters in iClone, but they appear misaligned — the interactions don’t line up spatially, as if each animation is playing in isolation.
My question is:
- Are these dual-person mocap animations pre-synced in terms of position and timing so that when applied to two characters, they automatically align and interact correctly?
- Or is manual alignment always required (e.g., using dummies, motion alignment tools, or root offset adjustments)?
I’d like to understand whether these mocap packs are designed with built-in synchronization between the paired motions, or if aligning the characters manually is an expected part of the workflow.
