What can be merged fine without issues inside cc4 when wanting to lessen the amount of materials brought into unity?
For example:
I saw hair and eyes and eyelashes and eyebrows for example should not be merged?
But I imagine arms and legs are probably fine to merge with the torso?
Does the head need to keep it’s own material to keep wrinkles?
Currently my character has 24 materials total without clothes on, it feels excessive, how much can I bring it down?
I tried the export option under insta lod that says “merge Material by type” but it resulted in this monstrosity when imported into unity:
Is that the wrong way to do this?
