Hello. I exported my character to Marmoset toolbag using the plugin, but the character looks really weird. The texture is different the hair color is different. Is that supposed to be expected?

I have an official workflow and would like to confirm whether your export settings and overall process are the same as shown in the tutorial video.
If they are, we may need to further check your software version and computer specifications to clarify the issue.

Yes i followed the same video. I’m using CC5 and Marmoset toolbag 5. I’m guessing its the shader problem?
I also tried to sent it to Blender using GoB plugin and it looks good. Weird that Marmoset makes it look so weird and fake, and I tried a lot of different lightning settings…
I would like you to help check a file. Could you look in the .fbm folder under the export path of this file and see if there is a Diffuse Hair texture?
Yes there are transparency_diffuse textures colored brown. Look like brush strokes.

Currently Marmoset toolbag 5 does not support custom shaders yet, so it is diffucult to fully match the visual quality of other Auto Setup tools (like Blender).
The CC Hair Shader’s vertex color cannot be used directly in Marmoset, which may cause color differences, as shown in the example below.
At the moment, users will need to manually adjust the hair materials.
We are also in discussion with the Marmoset team regarding potential technical collaboration for future improvements.
