Task Description
The goal of this project is to create a 3D animation video that promotes the app MyBodyCam. The app is designed for self-protection and de-escalation in situations where the user is confronted by a potential aggressor. Triggered by a voice command, the app records the aggressor via the front camera while animations and audio warnings overlay the aggressor’s image on the display. Once recording starts, the app sends email and SMS messages — including a link to the live stream and the user’s location — to the user’s pre-saved trusted contacts.
The app can be used in various situations involving aggression or potential risk, e.g., in unsafe public areas or walking home at night. For this project, however, we want to focus specifically on cases of domestic violence. This is a particularly difficult situation for the victim, due to the isolation involved and the frequent lack of evidence after an incident has occurred. When the app is activated during a potentially violent situation, the aggressor realizes he is being recorded and that this evidence is being transmitted to the cloud in real time — irreversible for him.
We have a specific concept for a scene set in the apartment of a young family, in which the mother is on the verge of being attacked by her drunken husband. The scene shows how using the app de-escalates the situation: the husband realizes his actions are being documented and already witnessed by the woman’s friend and mother. The scene is fully described in the attached script document, Skript_häuslicheGewalt (“domestic violence script”).
The script includes the spoken lines for each character, shown in different colors for each speaker (German dialogue). The individual voice recordings for each line are provided in the AudioDateien (“audio files”) folder.
Animation work has already begun using Reallusion’s iClone and Character Creator tools, but could not be completed due to a lack of animation skills on our (the client’s) side. The main remaining gap is animating the characters’ movements according to the script. You’ll find a first pass at the mother’s movements at the start of the scene — it’s rough and unpolished, but sufficient to demonstrate the intended direction. The following assets are already provided in the referenced folder:
● The started iClone project, SzeneHG1b
● The house asset, including the various rooms where the scene takes place
● Character Creator models for the woman and husband (the boy character is not yet created)
● The audio files
● The end-of-video CTA (call-to-action) screen
Whether you build on the existing assets or prefer to start from scratch is up to you.

Technical Specifications
● Duration: approx. 100 seconds
● Format: 9:16 vertical, compatible with Instagram/Facebook Reels
● Frame rate: 30 fps
● Resolution: 1080×1920 preferred; 720×1280 is also acceptable — high visual fidelity is not required
● Software: iClone 8.63 / Character Creator 5.03 (please ensure compatibility with these versions)
● Renderer: iClone’s native renderer is sufficient — no Unreal Engine pipeline needed
● Lip-sync: required only for close-up (upper-body) shots of the woman and husband; not needed for wider shots
● Boy character: not yet created — to be modeled by the contractor, approx. 8 years old, Caucasian (matching the mother’s appearance)
● Camera work: shot selection and blocking left to the contractor’s creative judgment
● Phone-screen overlay: please reference this existing Reel, which shows the app UI transitioning from standby into recording mode (set at an empty train station): MyBodyCam on Instagram — replicate the same style of overlay, showing the husband’s startled image appearing on the phone’s display within the scene
● Lighting: the existing project setup (“evening, dark outside”) may already be sufficient — please confirm or adjust as needed
● Captions: burned-in captions are required
● Music/SFX: optional — the contractor may add background music or sound effects at their own discretion, if they feel it strengthens the impact (“Wirkung”) of the video
Deliverables
● Final video in MP4 format
● The full, editable iClone/Character Creator project files
Budget & Timeline
● Budget: €600 total
● Deadline: end of August 2026 (earlier delivery welcome)
● Revisions: 3–4 rounds of feedback included
Payment Terms
● €100: paid after the contractor delivers a short proof-of-concept clip (~15 seconds) showing correctly animated movement of the woman character, as proof of skill and understanding of the brief
● €500 (remaining balance): paid only upon full completion and full client satisfaction with the final deliverable
Content Note
This project involves a fictional, scripted dramatization of a domestic violence scenario for a safety-app promotional video. All content is simulated for the purpose of demonstrating the app’s functionality — no real individuals or events are depicted.
Full copyright of the finished video will belong to the client.
