Here’s my dilemma.
I’m animating a group of characters. I was working on each one individually in Iclone and then putting them together in Unreal.
I really need to animate them together in Iclone.
Before I was just placing the exported animated characters individually by hand in Unreal.
Now I’m trying to use the Live Link. It’s working well. The only problem I’ve having is getting the Live Link Origin to work.
I transferred part of the environment from Unreal to Iclone and as you can see it’s way off to the side. Which is fine. I want to keep animating my characters near the center of world space (in Iclone) and I have been doing this. But I want to use the Iclone Live Link Origin to put them in the right place in the scene in Unreal.
The problem is I can’t get Live Link Origin to work at all. I created it in Unreal and it just gets stuck unable to move or rotate
I am following this tutorial:
What could I be doing wrong?
Also, for what I’m trying to do here is this the correct way to go about it?
