Kaspersky blocks metatailor: Generic Trojan

I recently installed metatailor. I had some issues with Kaspersky. I need to deactivate it to be able to enter in the metatailor webpage as it blocks it because it is a “loss data threat”.

I need to deactivate it to install it and execute it as it detects a “PDM:Trojan.Win32.Generic” in the .exe.

Can someone confirms me Metatailor is secure and this is only a Kaspersky malfunction?

PS: Sorry that the print screens are in Spanish, that is the language the Kaspersky messages appears as it is the language I installed it.

You can upload suspicious files on VirusTotal.com to check them with many different antivirus vendors. It’s likely a false positive.

Besides that, on Windows it’s usually enough to simply use Windows Defender and don’t bother with any other antivirus software.
