I downloaded and installed the CC Essentials clothing and fabric pack. I choose skinny jeans for my character. This is the result. It wasn’t what I expected, but perhaps it is the fashion of a new generation. It sort looks like a cloth animation gone bad.
The strange thing is that only the skinny jeans items perform this way. The jogging pants were fine. Any suggestions for getting the pants to work properly are welcome and appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim Seifert
Hi Tim
Apologies for the issue with the skinny jeans. Unfortunately as the CC Essentials Clothing & Fabric pack is quite old now, there is a compatibility issue with CC5 that needs to be fixed. I will pass this on to be corrected as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you can use the Skinny Jeans that come free with CC5 in the Free Resource Stylings pack. If you haven’t installed this pack yet you can find it by clicking on “Free Resources” in Content Manager > Pack.

Thanks, that will work out fine. If I may ask another question – I installed the CC Essentials Clothing and Fabric pack. But the feature for adding decals doesn’t appear in my menus. Where is it located? How do I access it?
Thanks,
Tim Seifert
Hi playtoossandl675,
After testing, we found that this issue occurs because some specific content assets are not compatible with the new Cloth Auto Correction feature .
You can simply disable this option in Preferences , and the content should work normally again.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
