I created a character from scratch using Headshot 2 in CC 4.53 (latest build).
I loaded the character in iClone 8.53 to animate (also latest build), which works fine. However when I open the Face Puppet, I get a warning:

That’s fine and dandy but it is unclear to me how to resolve this. Fill out Expression Data in CC. How exactly? Thanks for any hints.
This is the first time I see this message with a character, and it doesn’t seem to occur with other characters.
Just replace character’s eyes with one of the standard CC3+. Those which Headshot placed by default did not have mentioned morphs I suppose for one reason or another.
Thank you very much!
I usually use the standard eyes but this time I didn’t.
To replace the character’s eyes with one of the standard CC3+ options, you’ll need to select the new eyes from the CC3+ library and apply them to the character. Ensure the morphs for the eyes are correctly set by adjusting the eye settings under the “Morphs” tab for the head. If the default headshot doesn’t have the necessary morphs, you may need to apply or adjust the eye morphs manually to fit the new eye selection.
So this is a very strange issue that must have crept in with the latest CC and/or iClone build.
After creating an avatar with Headshot 2, if I leave the eyes as is, I don’t get the error.
If I replace only the material of the eyes, then I don’t get the error.
However, if I chose to replace the mesh of the eyes, then I get the error, even with the standard cc3+ eyes.
In my recollection this was never the case.
Yes, I can replicate that and it looks like a bug to me.
Though you may reinstate those 2 morphs (for eyes which support them) by reapplying a CC4 Extended facial profile.
Update…
It’s actually true for any character. I just loaded CC3+ neutral base, replaced eyes and lost those 2 morphs right away (reinstated by loading an Extended profile).
