Just sharing a quick peek at two characters from my upcoming project “In Absence” — meet Xavier and Selene. Built them in CC4 and animated using a mix of iClone 8’s Face Puppet, Face Key, and AccuLips. The final output’s going through Unreal Engine 5.5.
I’ve been trying to really get the hang of CC4 for a while now—still discovering new stuff every time I dive in. And just when I thought I was catching up… bam, CC5 gets announced Gotta keep up the pace!
I hope it’s not a final version. I’d say work out eyes. They look lifeless, like if they are reading a monologue and were directed to look straight at the camera. It’s OK, then they listen, but when a person talks one to another, no matter what, the eyes movement is essential, it can be subtle or more intense depending on dialog nature.
Also try smoothing head movements a bit. They subtle but still abrupt at times (particularity female).
