Importing External Assets

Is it possible to import Unity animations and meshes (with materials and textures) into iClone?

You can just drag custom characters in FBX format into iClone 8 and it will do it’s best to detect the format and convert to a Humanoid (Non-Standard) character.

Please Note: custom characters imported into iClone 8 can only be used “as is”. If you want to customize them and add facial expressions, then CC5 (or CC4) is required for the characterization.

For animations the same applies. You can drag an animation in FBX or BVH format onto a character and iClone will it try to detect the format and apply it accordingly.
