Hello, could someone please advise about the current IClone licensing. Is it tied to the machine with internet required to activate, or is it a loose system giving user total offline freedom to swap machines at will ?
I ask because the software I have is “old school” offline, eg Lightwave, Modo 10, and older Cinema 4D versions which just use a serial number. Is Iclone comparanle to those please ?
It is a big jump for me to delve into the IClone ecosystem, any help much appreciated.

Licensing is tied to the computer. For the convenience of our users we allow the software to be installed on two computers, but only one can be used at any one time.
For a normal installation you will need to be online when installing the software and when installing your content to activate it.
Then for the best experience using the software it is recommended to stay online, but an offline mode is available if required.
However, if you are simply unable to be online when installing, I would recommend contacting our Customer Support department who can advise you on the other options available.
